Besides the massive WIR, the Kitchen is Carrie's other domain.
Trying to make things feel more open with a stand alone island benchtop, here is the Kitchen in the making.
Part of the Kitchen frame up
This shows the entry to the Alfresco at the rear.
The refrigerator, stove and work area is attached to the wall that divides the common bathroom/toilet & rooms and the living/kitchen areas.
As you enter the Kitchen/Living areas, this is what you will see. We chose a long "jailbird" window on this west wall to minimise the effects of the afternoon sun. The wall on the right is adjacent to the HT room, which is also where the Lounge TV will be.
The Sliding doors leading to the Alfresco is placed in position. So is the servitude window on the left, where food can be served through directly to the Alfresco.
