We're gettin' there!

As you can see here, the inner wall of the garage has the brown side of the brick. Turned out better than I expected as I was a tad skeptical about how it'll look upon completion. Not too bad!

Clean bricks on the East wall of the house where the Laundry door opens to (behind the rear of the garage access).

Rear access from garage.

Alfresco area all bricked up.

Full view of alfresco at the rear of the house.

Another angle...

You can see the noticeable difference between cleaned bricks (right) and uncleaned ones (left). Beautiful!!!

Close up...

Taa-daaa....! Front of the house being rendered.

Fully rendered concrete front, waiting to be cured and set and then painted.

Bricking Continues

As you can see, these bricks I got have one side brown, the "face" side is blue and the sides are blue.

The brown side is exposed on the inside wall of the garage.... Hmmmm....

Brickies work around the house.

And the back...

And the side behind the rear access from the garage...

All over....

Almost there!

We have used cheap bricks (to save cost) on the front bit of the house where we are rendering concrete...

Up Goes the Brickz!!!

Hi-ho... hi-ho... it's off to work we go....

Brickz Brickz Brickz!!!

Posted by Haywire

Beautiful Boral "Victorian Blue" Bricks! The color is just on the outside of the bricks... which means, the brickies better not chip the face of the bricks! The other side of the bricks are actually brown...

Carrie feeling cold in the wind

Above:
Carrie shows where the niche is supposed to be adjusted to. Currently it's way too high.

Below: shows the rear access of the garage where I can drive the car through.
