The Building of Our New Home

Just thought I put this Google Map up and show you where our new home is being built. It's in the corner of Derrimut Rd and Sayers Rd, Tarneit.


As you can see, it's not exactly close to Melbourne city!!!


A direct drive (off-peak) takes me a comfortable 30mins into the heart of the city from there. Peak hour is about 1hr 15mins (give or take).







Commuting to work in the city takes me about 55mins, door-to-door, currently, but I'm slightly nearer where I'm renting now. But from Tarneit, that's basically how I'll be going to Laverton Train Station and train into the city from there. Yes, train'ing in is actually faster than driving.
